Bikini Beach are back. The fuzz darlings from Lake Constance have a new album on the way and are sending the first herald into the race with the single “Liar Liar”. A sparkling nugget of dirty garage rock full of distortion, fuzz, echoes and delays. Straight from the visitor’s crevice between fuzz, psychedelic, surf and pop.
Bikini Beach‘s new album Cursed emphasizes contrasts, featuring fuzzy riffs and sweet melodies. The band, consisting of Nils Hagstrom, Charlotte Love, and Manuel “Flip” Oetlli, hails from Lake Constance and nearby Switzerland. The title reflects the chaos of recent years, from the pandemic to war in Europe. Their sound is darker in 2025, with lyrics addressing personal struggles and global crises.
