In 2020, Doomed & Stoned in The Netherlands (Vol. II) was released with most bands curated by Rob Hammer. He liked the experience so in the year after that, when Doomed & Stoned editor in chief Billy Goate reached out to do some more, he agreed on doing some instrumental compilations albums. It led to four very successful releases on the Doomed & Stoned Bandcamp page (for Name Your Price).
Earlier this year Billy contacted Rob again asking if he had any suggestions for a new collaboration and they eventually agreed on doing a part five. All bands that responded were happy to contribute a song and he quickly realized that it would be better to do a part six as well!
