This is the third single and sixth work of the Void Sinker project released this year, “Sunless.” A doom drone metal experiment born from this cursed heat that we have experienced in recent years; written on a particularly hot day where I literally couldn’t breathe, it was so hot that I felt like I was having mystical visions. Furthermore, “Moonless,” an experiment inspired by the more psychedelic sounds of Earth born from the desire to try something new; it’s not the first time I’ve experimented with similar sounds, those who follow me on SoundCloud will know, but I wanted to try to release something similar and actually see how it went… I hope you like it. Enjoy this single (or maybe double?), we’ll see you next time… very soon… Sunless by Void Sinker Release date: August 30, 2024 Label: Self-released Genre(s): Doom, drone, experimental Find Void Sinker: Instagram | YouTube

Catchy guitar motifs and shadowy vampiric vocals are on offer from the demonic rock ‘n’ roll act The Pale Horses. Writing fuzz-filled riffs best enjoyed within the towering walls of a haunted castle, The Pale Horses conjure up a dark rock ‘n’ roll sound. The band’s debut EP Enchantress is released via Black Throne Productions on October 25th, 2024. The rhythmically driven first single “Never Know” tells a tale of lust and a toxic lover, adorned with lashings of fuzz and guitar riffs. Emerging out of the gloom, the title track summons immense bass tones, is awash with hooks and carries a deadly aura. Followed by “Morning Star”, it thunders into life exploring the idea of “researching [a] new alternative philosophy and beliefs not associated with religion”. “Bad Love” returns to themes of lust as it delves into the beauty of seduction but through a narcissist lover. About The Pale Horses: The band play on themes of fear and thrills exploring gothic horror, sex & drugs along with counter culture, occultism and self-empowerment. 1970’s heavy metal forms a primary musical influence along with rock ‘n’ roll rhythms, and sleazy riffs loaded with fuzz. Based out of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, the earliest formations of the band date back as far as the late 90s as a side project finally coming to fruition in 2024. Enchantress is the band’s first EP in its official form, produced by Zack Hollow and set for release on October 25th, 2024, via Black Throne Productions. Knife Planet is the solo project of London based artist Luke Jackson. “The UK is a place of grinding contradiction. Home to a class construct that is rooted in discrimination and curtain twitching conservatism, yet obscured behind a passive aggressive self regard that passes for civility. Social Mobility is a series of vignettes that look at what it takes to live somewhere like this.” Social Mobility by Knife Planet Release date: September 27, 2024 Label: Fiadh Productions Genre(s): Blackened industrial pop Find Knife Planet: Instagram
